KL-ZE engines*

im thinking of adding in this KL-ZE engine,to replace my K8. that most of tha MX-guys talk bout. & poss a turbo along side. I have a few questions...

1-what make is this engine out of? ive heard the mellenia, fordprobe,626...
2-Can our mazda mx-3 K8 handle a turbo?
3-How many miles on a engine, is it still safe to include a turbo with?
4-which compatible engines have a straight neck? i hear u get better airflow.

KlZE's are imported from Japan taken out of Mazda vehicles there. We use the curved neck because of a clearence issue with the brake reservoir. Straight necks have been done by modifying the engine mounts. Google JDM engines to find a distributor. StreeImports is very reputable and they have a warehouse in New York state. Other than that use the MX-3 search as their are lots of posts regarding KLZE's.

Curve-neck IM's are said to flow better, but the problem with them is that you can't get an OEM ECU with the proper VRIS points for that IM
