high idle on start up, and on air condition

sometimes when i start my mx3 it idles at 2000 RPM, but then later it drops to the normal RPM. also whenever i turn on my air condition the RPM rises and dips down. what could be the problem?

I believe this is normal. The car is just simply having to warm up. As long as the rpms aren't too low when the ac on this is also normal
