ok here is my problem i have been a honda guy for about 5 years now but just last week a bought a 1992 mazda mx-3 v6 love the little car but the motor runs like crap it lacks power then all of sudden it kicks in the rpms drop off like it wonts to stall and then runs fine i has stalled once so far pulled over shut off the car 5 minutes later fired up drove it home when it sputter and almost stall sometimes it backfires dont know eneything about mazda can someone please help.

Sounds like another vaccuum leak. Spray some propane/carb/brake cleaner around the intake manifold after the Airflow sensor (a little cylndrical thing on your intake) and see if the RPM's jump anywhere.
Check engine light on?
Also, jump "TEN" and "GND" in the and set your idle properly. The info should be written on the underside of the hood.

What it sounds like is a super long sentence. I would advise you to do a full tune up, check and make sure the wires are put it the correct order and that they are still in good shape. Change your plugs and thermostat as soon as possible, and just look at info on here.

swap to a klze and you will forget about the so called h22 swaps and so lol


well not the k20 swap tho... that one rules!



Do a tune up, spark plug, wires, disty cap, rotor. Check for vac leaks.


Our cars work like hondas too, they got pistons , cams, ecu lol
