Body work

Post by tomfinn »

i know i should probably just try it, but i want to make sure before i do. what is the best way to repair cracks and breaks in the front and rear bumper covers? and the front license plate bolts are shoved into the bumper cover, besides the screws directly below the grille, where are the other bolts and screws holding it on?

is it cracked all the way through or just scratch. If all the way through you need to taper edges of crack and fill in groove with glue 40/40 (check your local auto body supply) and you make sure it goes all the way through to the back side and put some reinforcement fabric on the the back side. After it dries you sand it down even with the bumper and then prime and paint.
