Well I finally picked her up yesterday!

As I got her:

I did a little work in the couple of hours I had before I had to come back to college.

Stupid Chrome Wheel Well "trim" and the Magnets Removed:

And I got rid of the lame ricy seat covers:

Not bad for $500

Future work:

New Battery
Rear Strut Mounts (Pass. Side is Broken)
New Tires
A LOT of body work...

I plan on taking as many pics as possible during my build. I am looking for some patch panels for the body, anyone know where I can get some?

Try autowreckers, man. My favourite local one will let me take any panel for >$30 CAD.
Nice Ride.
Looks JUST like mine :) Just a little more rust, and rims instead of steelies. Same exterior and interior though :)

Well on the tow back from buying it I could tell the Rear strut mount was shot on the passenger side. I finally am home from college for the summer so I got some work done!

This was how bad it was!

Image

It completely broke though, good thing for the seatbelt bracket!

I went with the cheaper mount for the time being, I'll do KYB's later when I have more $$

Image

Image

The bolts came out nicely! Usually they break on me the first time I take them out of a car I own.

Image

Turns out the previous owner put some KYB GR2's all the way around!

Image

Are these lowering springs? She sits a lot lower than most cars I see.

Hopefully more to come soon!
