Fully analog adjustment mod for MSD window switch

Post by mdavis »

Hey y'all. I've been wanting to tune my VRIS for a while now but don't like the gimmicky resistor pills for the MSD window switches. I wasn't sure that they were resisters, but assuming that they were I had been wanting to research replacing them with potentiometers. Doing a little Google search I found that someone else has already written a great walk-through on doing just that. This method is really cheap and easy with some basic soldering skills. It will allow fully analog adjustment of the open and close RPM points with a $70ish MSD RPM Window Switch (part # 8956) without the use of the stupid, expensive, gimmicky, inaccurate pill crap.
