STUPID BEEPER

This forum is for discussion of topics relating to MX-3 lighting such as Headlights, Tail lights, Accessory Lights, Interior Lights, Etc. For example, Rear Euro Altezza Style Tail lights, Headlight units, LED's, HID's, Bulbs, Interior lights, Neons, Strobes, Auxillary Lights/Fogs or anything filament and gas discharge related.
Also anything dealing with the elctrical system.

STUPID BEEPER

Ok my warning beeper(headlights on/door open)is going off and i cant get it to shut up.I had A dead battery this morning,so i charged it up when i got home today,well when it was charged i went to start the car and it started and the beeper wouldn't go off.I did my search and came up with nothing,anybody else have this problem before????

I believe this would be related to the seatbelt warning chime issue. There is a fix for it in one of the technical service bulletins. Somebody will have the link, but do a search first.

Looked in the TSB's couldn't find anything on the beeper issue,does anybody got a link or a thread or anything????

A quick fix would be to just pull the plug, it's behind the little panel under the fuse box (at least it is in RHD cars) I'm pretty sure everything else functions ok, if not, have a look in the wiring diagram in the online manual on MX-3.com homepage for the chime.

This is just suggested as a temporary fix so you don't go insane in the meantime lol!

Yeah i pulled the beeper today,what a pain to get that box out,i just want to know why it kept beeping.

dude all you have to do is loosen the little peg on the door sill and the beeping stops at least it did 4 me. My simple n easy fix

Nope i already tried that before i went posting my problem,i was hoping it was going to be that easy,but i pulled the beeper out,so i think I'll call it good for now.
