SOLD 400+ HP turbo kit: pipes, turbo, intercooler, BOV, etc

Post by rebel2k4 »

SOLD SOLD SOLD

Well the time has come again and I'm looking at upgrading. I want to sell this turbo and move on to something a bit larger.

I will sell it in a variety of ways, or part it if no one is interested. Here's the specs:

Holset HY35, EXCELLENT condition, <25k miles (I got it with 10k). No shaft play, no damage whatsoever. This turbo is very similar in size to a Garrett 60-1, and is not some cheap knock off. They can take upwards of 30 psi reliably. Spins PERFECT, better than any non ball bearing turbo I have ever spun. This turbo means business.

Internal wastegate

bar/plate FMIC

2.5" mandrel collector with 1.75" primaries, bolts to stock K8 logs

2.5" mandrel intercooler pipes, 2.5" couplings with t bolt clamps

-4AN braided oil feed with all fittings to bolt right into your block

2.5" downpipe, bolts to stock cat

I made 403 whp 412 ft lbs of torque on this turbo with a 2.5" crush bent exhaust. That was on 16 psi with a horrible tune and pump gas. This kit is easily capable of 450 whp, and spools VERY fast considering the size. Simply hauls a--, however now I am building a motor and want to go bigger.
At this point I would like to get what I have into materials back out of it. That would be $1300. The quality of this kit is great, never has given me any problems. I can also include a nice formed metal oil drain and tapped oil pan to go with it, if necessary.

Nice setup! and nice price for it too!

someone should jump on this. I spent way more that that to turbo my car.

also... Rebel2k4, if you are parting out, how much for the BOV? What kind is it? How loud is it?

thanks

Seems there are a few interested so I'm not willing to part out right now.

Thanks for the kind words guys :)

I am getting a little more serious with this car, putting more money into it, and will be most likely breaking the 500 whp mark within the next two years :) I won't be getting rid of it anytime soon...

Oh great, now you guys are gonna make me feel bad if I DON'T hit 500 whp

It could be awhile before I even get this motor built... takin things slow because I burnt myself out a couple times with this car, and we've seen what happens when a lot of guys around here do that...
