oil pressure???
hi everyone im new i was over at probetalk but now am i proud owner of a 93 mx3 ze-t....ok i just bought a garret t3 57 trim .63a/r for my ze mx3...and i was wondering why slowboyracing says i shouldn't run a restrictor to the turbo...but what do you guys think??? i mean is 30psi at idle too much??? and what about 47-71psiat 3000rpm's???

you need a 0.060" restrictor in the oil line. otherwise it will blow the oil seals and smoke.

hey thanks alot...tho i need to figure out if this engine needs a crank or if the bearings werent torqued properly...has anyone heard of a 2.5l curved neck de??? or is it just the probe (kl03/de)motor with a curved neck im???

just check the head codes, and if you have the valve covers off, check the cam codes.

i was just asking i dont have a motor like that......se7en would a 0.063 work??? and does it matter if im getting my oil supply from what used to be a blocked off port???

well, I would use the oil supply that has the pressure sender in it though, just in case you starve some important part of the engine from oil with that plugged port you found...
