The paper clip is your jumper wire. Jump TEN and ground. Turn just the ignition on, and count the check engine light flashes, and pattern (fast/slow flashes). Use the search feature to reference the CEL codes that you record.
Do not enter Canadian Tire store, or any other store (unless it's Staples for a paper clip), do not go to an online store, and finally do not purchase a scantool of any kind. If you wish to spend money unnecessarily, I do accept Paypal.
