I've been reassembling my IM and have a couple questions someone might be able to answer?
1. In the vacuum line that runs from the rear of the IM to the cannister for the butterfly solenoids (red squares in the pic) is a small filter or check valve.
Does anyone know for sure what it is, got a part number or maybe even have one they'd part with? Mine got broken off...
2. Are the solenoids the same on a 1.8 and a KLZE? One of mine has a broken mount on the bottom and I might have one from a 1.8 to replace it. Will it do the same thing?
Thanks!!

Re: Vacuum line questions
it is a check valve. It holds vacuum in the black chamber. You can use the one off the k8. they are the same. Make sure you put it in the right way.
you can use the k8 solenoid also.
