So some eBay seller used my car in their ad...

Post by infiniGTR »

I was browsing eBay tonight as I usually do and in one of the thumbnail images for a short shifter I see a MX3. As I look closer I'm thinking..."Damn, that kinda looks like my car" So I open up the auction to get a full size view of the image and what do you know, HOLY s--- THAT'S MY CAR! LOL I just thought that was pretty cool.

Here is the auction: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... :IT&ih=006

LOL ya it's not there anymore. I bought the car down in Texas and the previous owner had that on there. That picture was from the week I got it so i hadn't gotten around to removing it yet.

Huh. Nice, haha. I remember someone else getting mad that an ebay seller used their pic.

Hmmm...

I wonder if those are good short shifters....

Kartboy used to make short shifters for the Protege, which is the same as the MX3 (Any shifter from 1G-3G (90-03) Protege will work). They discontinued them though. I bought one before they discontinued them luckily. I really like it too. I'm pretty sure it's the shortest throw out of any of the SS's made for our cars. A lot of people complain about it being too short making it hard to reach. I never had problems with it though. FWIW, the one Corksport makes now looks almost exactly like the Kartboy one did.

When I had it in my Protege:
