Help!! cant get alternator out!!

How do i get an alternator out? I have it all disconnected but i cannot seem to get it out of the engine. The only way i see is to take off the exhaust but im afraid because of the springs i see and the bolts are pretty rusted on there. Any other way to take out an alternator??

Through the top of the engine. Remove the charcoal canister from the passenger side firewall, it just slides up and off the bracket. Then you should have enough room.

From the top sounds like a good way. I however took the hard way i guess. Dropped the exhaust at the front and then popped the alt between the steering & axel. Going back up was a pain that way.
