engine ticking

93 gs v 6 engine is always ticking thought it was noise lifter but i seen a nother mx3 thats ticking to any one no why >??? thanks

Check and make sure you do not have a leaking exhaust manifold gasket. Check all connections in the upper part of the exhaust to make sure they are tight and not leaking.

It could possibly be in your valve train (lifters,weak valve springs) or some other components. If the car has a lot of miles on it the wear factor could the culprit. Check the exhaust things first though. Easier and cheaper
