So this is my new 93' GS SE...
So here is the new MX-3. I've had it a week now. I want to thank Ayaz, the member I bought it from. He was a total gentleman about the whole thing and seemed genuinely concerned that I have a good purchasing experience. I also want to thank him for taking excellent care of the car. It's actually pretty amazing.
The car has ~279,000km on the clock, is bone stock and feels like it's maybe 5 years old. It's not perfect. The windshield has a bad crack, there are a few rock chips as you'd expect and the left rear quarter panel was keyed right to the metal. He took the time to seal te scratches and touch them up so the panel wouldn't rust. The interior is the best I've ever seen. Not just in an MX-3, but any significantly used car I've ever seen. My friends' reaction when I showed them was "How did he get 280k on it? He never sat in the seats!!"
So, it needs brakes and a clutch this year for sure. I'll do the windshield because the inspector will probably make me. Next spring I think I'll get the body work done. A few small bubbles are beginning to appear, so I figure i've got a year before they're a problem. A ZE is in the plans for the future I think. I believe I will drive this car for another 15 years.
I washed it, but the roads are wet due to massive melting of redonculous amounts of snow...
the interior after a serious fight witha bottle of armour all...
the front seats are in really good shape...
the back seats have basically never been sat in according to the seller...
even the privacy cover is the nicest one i've ever seen...
I have to say...I love the straight dash much more the the bubble dash of my 2 previous MX-3's
So there she is. I'm gona own it forever, so you're never getting rid of me now.

Re: So this is my new 93' GS SE...
Thank you, I appreciate your kind comments. I was also suprised that there was no air conditioning. I wish that it did, but I don't want the hassle of modifying the HVAC controls. OH well...I am totally happy with the car otherwise. I have picked up brake parts already to replace the entire brake system and I will do the clutch in the fall probably.
The seats are not broken down at all. They feel like new when seated. The only issue so far is that they do not seem to heat. Anyone know where I can get a 93' wiring diagram?

I have the 93 SE as well and no A/C for me. Not a big problem for me, if it's hot out, just open the windows and the sun roof and crank up the tunes.Mooneggs wrote: that is ridiculously gorgeous... I'm surprised it didn't come with A/C - is that normal?

Well, the seats are not so hotness, what with the non-working heating option on them >_>SmoothMX3 wrote:Awsome MX bro. Minty lookin, Eh?

My heated seats still work!! I was surprised that they did what with the car being 15 years old and all.Flyer wrote:Well, the seats are not so hotness, what with the non-working heating option on them >_>

Hey Red...do you have any documetation on the seat heater electircal circuit? I think I could trace it if I knew the location of the relay and stuff. Neither of the switches light up when turned on so I think it's something at the powere source.
Anybody with any canadian wiring diagram from 93' I could sure use some help.
