Which CAI kit to buy?

Post by onlytrueromeo »

Since there are no "A-Spec" kits listed on ebay at the moment, I was wondering which prelude or integra kit would be the best for a 1.6L DOHC, going to BP swap this summer.

Here are some links to different items

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/97-98-99 ... 0023769890" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/92-96-Ho ... 0023821793" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I really like the look of the 2nd one, but it's a one piece so I would have to cut it. (Josh (AWD) did it with one on his MX3 and it came out well. Would any of the others work better? There are many more kits on ebay, so I have alot to choose from. I just don't want to shell out $40 for something that's not going to work or that is going to be a giant pain in my bum. :)

The lude intake will work (link 2). I had one on my car a few years back. You do have to cut it, but it's easy to do. Don't expect much hp gain. Sounds great tho.

Even w/out the HP gain, to me they add a lot to the car.. it sounds nice, and looks cool under the hood.
