steering wheel adjuster help

Post by raxable »

Hi all

Ok got my mx-3 the other day and love it, lots to do on it thou but my main gripe at the moment is that i need to adjust the hight of the steering wheel as i am 6ft2 but cant find the handle.
I have looked under the steering wheel and around it but cant locate it.

Could anyone help at all?
Pic would be most welcome.

Many thanks all.

There is a lever right in the middle towards the front that pulls straight down. And then it goes up and down from there.

I'll go out and get a pic right now.

Ohh man that sucks.

I think your best bet would be taking the plastic pieces from around the steering column and get on the floorboard and check it out.

And as for parts, I would see exactly how it comes off and then go to a Pick a Part or junk yard and take one off.

Good luck.
