Mazda Snow Pics
Sorry, i dont know how to post the actual picture so heres the links. A few pictures of the mx-3 and the snow, and a few of the mx and the daily driver/winter vehicle. The interior in my car was all gutted out so i put down a piece of plywood to make the floor level and then carpeted the trunk area and where the back seat was. Dont mind the seam, there will be a small subwoofer box covering it soon.

Thanks for the compliments on the trunk area. I actually cut the board in half that goes over the spare tire, and hinged it, so i can store stuff under the floor. It came out real nice, i was proud of myself. I used carpet from wally world, some contact cement, and some small screws. I cut the carpet to shape, and then stretched it to avoid wrinkles and then screwed the perimeter of it in. I used foam padding under the carpet where the rear seat is, just incase somebody needs to sit in the back, even though there are no seat belts, hahaMooneggs wrote:hgallegos915 wrote:what materials? i want to do that!nice job on the rear seat delete - very cleanJohnjj728 wrote:i put down a piece of plywood to make the floor level and then carpeted the trunk area and where the back seat was.
They are team loco 17x7's. I know what your thinking, ive never heard of those, and neither have I until I found em on ebay a few years ago. They were a floor model for some shop in california. They are a forged 2 piece design which is why i bought em. They weigh about 14-15 lbs. Somethin tells me you wont see these on any other mx-3. I forget what i paid for em but i think they were like 600 for just the rims. I think retail for em was around 1200 for the set of 4. The tires are kuhmo ecsta supras.

Your car is nice and clean. The only two things I would change are the blue shift boot and the turquoise steering wheel (They clash big time). Still love the exterior look and the back seat removal though.

haha i agree with you, the wheel was originally the same color as the shift boot. I will get a black steering wheel and shift boot. I did that when i was younger but ive grown up so im gonna try and find me a genuine mazdaspeed steering wheel or somethin a little more classy. Also the shift boot will probably be changed back to stock. Thanks for the compliments. In the spring she's getting her wetsand and buff and some tint, and most likely an exhaust that looks a little more stock.

Here's my favorite steering wheel. It's classy and goes with the interior theme of black and crome. If you were to add the miata crome door handles to the interior they would compliment this steering wheel very well.
