adjusting headlights

adjusting headlights
i need to adjust my headlights, my lowbeams are alright but my high beams are worse then the low beams because they are pointed too far down at the ground. any tips?

open your hood... look at the backside of the headlights. You will see 2 phillips head adjustment screws on the back of the headlights.
It helps if it is nighttime and the car is facing a wall from 30 feet away to give you an idea of where the headlight is going. The driver's side headlight is usually not adjusted as high as the passenger side for courtesy since you don't want to blind oncoming drivers.
But you say that your highs are pointed at the ground?? Unless you have it wired backwards this should not be happening...
