Gro is saying that all MX6's, both 4 and 6 cyl have the G series tranny. I take this as gospel. He also says that the spline count on a MX6 LS and MX3 GS is 28 and everything else is 26. DE's are very rare at my local self serve wrecker's. If I get a G series tranny from a 4 cyl MX6 RS, obviously I will need a 26 spline clutch disk. Will I need a different flywheel as well? Will the MX6 LS flywheel bolt to the MX3 GS crankshaft? I think my diff is going and I want to grab this MX6 RS tranny cuz it's wiked cheap, but I would like to straighten out what clutch parts I'll need before I commit the time.Gro Harlem wrote:FYI for those who are out of the know....the list below details the G-series mazda gear box:
