[GI] Harness bars and others

Post by lowridah313 »

Well I just picked up a part time job at a chassis shop. So I can build some really cool stuff now. These have been offered before, but that member has been banned. So if theres enough intrest, I will build these as they are requested. I have a few other ideas for some chassis braces (ze strut bar to clear intake, floor brace, rear strut tower/trunk pan brace) So please let me know if there is any intrest in these.

Why ??
Anyone with a welder and moderate skill can make one of those , it was just a strait bar with a flange welded on , and a couple holes drilled in it .

Barry I know, thats why this is just gauging intrest. It depends on the demand before I contact Jeff.
John thats a truck bed roll cage of you really want one....lol. Yeah I probably could make a 4 or 6-point cage.
Mooneggs yeah I can make just a straight B-pillar brace.

Well I talked to the guy I work for, and he charges approx. $150/point so a 4-point cage would be $600+ $45/hr labour. These would be custom fit for the mx-3's, and they will be fully tig welded. Now if this price is too high I'm sorry I dont own the shop(yet).
