[FS] Ultimate Part Out, '92 GS in WA usa/BC can

Post by mattster »

PLEASE READ AT MINIMUM THE BOLD

I am located in Lynden, WA 98264 which is 5 minutes from the BC boarder, and willing to meet up with BC guys on this side the peace arch (I-5), Lynden, or Sumas boarder (fill up with gas while you’re down here!) . I will ship anything to anywhere in the US (or ship to elsewhere in Canada for a bit more). For cash purchases a $1USD/$1CDN exchange will be used for simplicity. Pictures available upon request. Parts are not “sold” until I have the money in Paypal or a serious pickup has been arranged. Shipping is not included, but I will give reasonable rates. I check this thread/PM's/e-mail multiple times daily, and am Paypal verified.

It breaks my heart to do this, but I am forced to part out my once immaculate '92 GS... or if you're fast enough will sell in full for $800.00. I bought this car as my first car at 16 and now 6 years and 60k miles later I fear it's not worth fixing. The car was involved in a 15 mph front end collision, damaging the front bumper, hood, driver's fender and headlamp. In addition to the damaged parts, any parts that will cause the car not to roll will not be sold. The rest of the car is up for grabs; my hope is that parting out this car will make lots of other MX-3's just a little bit better. Some parts are listed as "assemblies" which can be purchased with all the parts listed below it, or each and every part can be purchased separately as well.

Here are the important specs:

1992 Blaze Red GS
120,xxx miles
5 speed tranny
Black Interior
99% STOCK
electric windows
electric sunroof
electric seatbelts

Here are the main parts that people may be interested in. Forum Rules state prices must be posted, so I have done so. However, I have been dealing a lot w/3rd gen RX7’s lately, which parts sell like they’re coated with gold… so if my price is too high, tell me what you think it’s worth, everything is OBO!

PS fender, very nice, $60

PS headlamp, $40

Mudflaps, $80

DS/PS door assembly, only minor door dings, $100ea

Rear Hatch assembly, $80
-rear wiper

I need:

Bolts from the front calipers. The bolts that hold the pads in line, and the splint that ensures that the bolts don't go flying away. I need for both calipers.

How much? I'm thinking along 10$ + shipping. I'm located in Norway, but I'm a good payer, several people can vouch for me. Shipping should not be a problem as the items in question are pretty small and of little weight.

I wonder if the right side mirror is faded. If not, I'm interested in the housing as well.

Regards,
Lars

I'd DEFINTELY be interested in some stuff. Most of the stuff I need would be black interior trim pieces. I need all the trunk pieces, a couple underhatch pieces, and a rear passenger side trim panel .... once again all black. Do you have complete trim panels in your car? Might be interested in some other stuff, though can't think of anything right this second. But basicly anything inside that's in better condition than mine. I don't need anything body, drivetrain, or suspension related though. RSVP ASAP. If you get back to me in time, I may be able to drive up this Fri or Sat, otherwise I wouldn't be able to come till next weekend. You can call me at 773-572-5910 during the day Fri, Sat, or Sun. Try to keep it between 10AM and 5PM. If your interior isn't black, then that'd be kind of a deal-breaker, and you can just post that here.

Likewise Mattster :) I started a feedback thread for you in the buyer/seller feedback forum. Best of luck on the rest of your sales and your RX7 project. If you get time.. PM me some pics of your 7 when you get the engine into her. Cheers man

What kind of shape is the carpetting in? If it's mint, I'd likely take it. Condition of rear struts/springs?
