having problems wiring my walbro 255 , pulled the pump out of the tank and used a multi meter and on the 2 wires going to the pump they both would have the same signal.
Example
I would touch the multimeter to wire #1 and pin #1 and it would beep, But then i would touch wire #1 to Pin #2 and it would beep aswell.
Just trying to figure out how to supply power to this stupid pump.

I think the existing fuel pump connector should plug into the walboro pump - if it doesnt -
Disconnect the connector - put your multimeter into voltage mode - and measure the voltage across the two pins in the connector - i.e. put the red wire from the multimeter on one pin on the connector and put the black wire on the other pin - if the voltage reads -12v the switch red & black wire. Now - the connector pin touching the red multimeter wire is +12v and the other one is ground. Take the pigtail that came with your pump and connect the red wire to the +12v pin and the black wire to the other pin.
So basically the pump needs a +12v and a gnd - the wire from the fuel pump relay is +12v.
Common sense points to note while doing the test -
1) Ignition should be on
2) The MAF sensor vane has to be pushed in (i think) so ms2 will actually turn the pump on.... (this may not be required if ms2 automatically turns it on)
3) Gas tank should be empty or sealed and the interior of the car should be well ventilated

Thanks for the reply, sorry for the lateness on my part,
im no longer using the maf or the stock relays i have replaced the maf with a map and am running universal relay for the pump.I have a fuel pum p connector laying around i just need to go about installing it and wiring it...
