Wide One Off Spanish MX3, any info?

Post by Tommy D »

Basically i found this and fell in love.....Im a big fan of originality but this Spanish recipee here, just works IMO.

The MX3 is a cute car but this kit looks great and fits the requirements i am after for my Mazda.

I dont intend to copy it completely, although i dont want to loose the look. The rear bumper will be very different and the front made more aggressive, squarer cutouts. The skirts will be box and linear as opposed to curved for a more Touring car look....

Does anyone know where i can find info on this kit, or find out a build post from the artist that made it..? What front bumper is that modified from?

The Original.....(copied from MX3 forum)

My intended cast off.....

Please bear in mind that i will likely use Ultima Alloy wheels, not those I very Quickly knocked up in my MS Paint mod (lol) The Wheels i intend to use are those shown on the Ultima GTR Kit car below...

I looked for that bumper myself before...checked everywhere,
and now i think its custom work, so you cant get it anywhere unless you find the person that made that one and get them to make you one $$$$$$$$

I posted a pic of this a while back that I stole from the UK forums but it is originally from this site:

http://www.tuningfever.fr/fr/index.php

maybe you can find more info there... I'm sure it's one off and not a kit you can buy... good luck sir!

That bumper is a hyundai elantra bumper , I think .

I was going to custom mold one for projectmx awhile ago but then lost track of time , and forgot all about it ,

Probably don't need them in that country. Cause u don't need them here in finland and "were" are quite strict, we need side turning signals that u don't need in most of the countries for example. The e-spec mx-3 doesn't even have them. :)

so you don't need front blinkers in finland but you need the blinkers in the fenders????

Oh, sorry.. i thought he meant the ones on the side of the bumper, but i cuess they r called cruising lights or something like that. Well signal lights (used to the word indicator) would b easy to hide behind the mesh grill by using motorcycle indicators. ( i should sleep more and consecrate when reading ).

So sorry i read it wrong. But yes we need them in the front but we also do need them in the fenders. And i have heard that all countries don't need them.

But don't know the kit or what bumper. The design looks kind of familiar, but it could even b made by scratch from fibreglass's.
