Gauge reads LEAN!

Post by PWRD_BY_HKS »

Okay you guys already know I'm running a narrow band gauge which in itself is not good but lately its just been reading lean. Like very very lean and once I step on the gas it won't even read it drops under lean. The car does not feel wired or bad or power loss. Not even under boost. I'm still at 4 lbs with an fmu. Is it possible the fmu went out. How could I check it. Could it just be the gauge being dumb?

Thanks for the help fellas!

You possibly roasted the stock o2 sensors. Get a real wideband.

I got mine and I can see exactly where it leans out. Also when u have a wideband.. you see how scary using an fmu is.. the air fuel ratios change as soon as that afpr stops sensing boost or vacuum... it can kill yer engine. I fried by stock o2 sensors but dont care since I am installing my msns

I would not say USELESS but compared to a wideband they are crap. But ive been using a narrow band for quiiite a bit now(on idle its useless but at WOT itlets me know....vaguely if im going lean or rich...ish) haha. Although when i really try to make a good tune you can bet your moms socks ima go get a wideband.
