A knife I etched at work today

Post by Tunes67 »

Just thought I would post this pic up.. kinda a cool looking knife.. different if nothing else. I etched the Black oval with the F.T.W. inc inside it. This was a job for one of our customers. Cheers

Yes.. as long as you provided the dragon image. I am a bit limited on where the image can be etched. So it would also depend on how long the blade is, how big the hilt is and where you want the image etched. Also.. the chem etch process isnt cheap.. the chemical we use is very expensive. Here is what the chem etch costs.

Setup (materials & art time) = $30
Laser Chem Etch = $10.00 Minimum or $1.28 per minute of laser time which ever is greater. Typical chem etch jobs run 15 minutes unless the image being etched is small.

We ship UPS here and there would be a shipping cost to send the sword back to you.

FYI.. the Etch is impervious to almost anything.. the only way the image can be removed is with a grinder or sandpaper and a LOT of elbow grease ;) The chemical we use is for Steel or Stainless Steel only. And the steel must be uncoated or the chemical cant bond to the metal properly.

PM me if your interested in placing an order and I will give you contact information for our business :)
