clutch compatibility

Post by Dovid »

hello!
I have a question for you! I have a b6t in my mazda mx-3 and I use the 323 GTX FWD gearbox. Now I bought a pro GT (or escort GT) gearbox and I want to know if my ACT clutch fit.

If we use our logic, If the pro GT gearbox fit on the b6t block... it will fit. I'm right??

Thank for your reply.

I tried the search button but I dont found an answer.

The transmissions will fit directly on the engine, but i think that if you are going to use a BP transmission than your going to need the 1.8 flywheel and clutch. As the splines are different between the two trannys.

ok...so I have to buy a clutch and a flywheel for escort GT tranny.

I saw on mazda323performance the b6t FWD and the bp gearbox have the same internals. its strange that the clutch wont fit...

I like to see that (stating they are both the same) different gear ratio's and different diff.. but i guess because there different them they are both the same...

not to mention different size axles and different flywheel clutch setups..
