grinding noise

grinding noise

well when i begin to accelerate thers a grinding noise from my back right tire, sounds like something hiting the rotor then as i go faster it goes away but as i slow back down it happens even when im not hitting the brake any help please

Check to make sure your brake pads are still good and not gringing on the rotor. If your brakes are good might be a wheel bearing. Check the bearing by putting one hand on the wheel at 12 oclock and the other at 6. Than start shaking the wheel to see if it has any play. Should feel completely solid.

i just recently had brakes put on a couple of months ago and i took off the tire and there was play wilt the brkae it seem loose and it only seems to be shaving about and inch off the rotor were they rest is rusted and all the other rotors have lik 2-3 inches from the brake hitting it but i will do the 12 and 6 thing thanks
