Modify stock front bumper

Post by lerutis »

Hi

I just bought another stock front bumber for my Mx3 and i'm looking for mods and what others did too it. I've seen some nice s--- and looking for inspiration.

Anyone can help out with some links ?

And again, modified stock front bumper / spoiler.

Thanks

Atlanta mx3 removed the bar going across the front air damn. You can do that. I filled in the side marker on the side so its similar to the jdm and euro ones.

Some people put mesh in the grill and air dam, thats kinda ricerish if you ask me. Some people mold the lips or get rid of the joint in the middle. It all goes for what you want to do.

Well I had a stock gs bumper that the lip came off, ( I know its rare for the front lip to come off....LOL) anyways. So I fiberglassed / molded it back on, and filled in the side markers.. it came out real nice.... untill I hit a racoon @ 110 kms.

That looks good but i'd suggest getting some raised aluminum expanded sheet or galvanized mesh to fill the hole.

Ah very nice indeed, i'm thinking of keeping fog lights or not, or just keep the holes empty and fill with grill.

More pictures is welcome ofc!

I think i'm going to remove that bar in the middle of the air dam. I like that bumper without it.

I removed the middle bar in my air dam on my fast car... I'm debating if I want to do the same to my jdm bumper on the slow car...

it definately makes it look more agressive...

Thats nice also... I'm not a big fan of the real aggressive front ends on mx's.... But thats just me.. I like the more clean sleeper look... nice and clean with lots of go...
