That setup looks REAllly good. I'm thinking about getting an alpine type X sub now, right now i just have a type R. What are the 700W speakers on the side there?

Defantly go with the alpine type X componenets, very good speakers. I have the SPX-177a model right now, and they are incredible.

700 watt sony coaxial speakers. i not sure wat model number
but they say sony on the bottom and 700 watts maybe peak but
they have a huge magnet on the bottom so i guessed they can take a lot.
i hooked it up to my older alpine 800 watt amp and i was right they sound really good :D
the sound quality in my car is amazing and the bass is crisp and loud
i didn't want to over flood my sound quality with a lot of bass so i fiddled around with sum of the setting on both amps and viola, sufficient bass and and incredible sound quality working in sync :D
don't get me wrong...
the bass in the car is bad a--
and when im playing a DVD flick u get the best movie experience u can get in a car haha

I think you should deep 6 the rear speaker idea. Not only is the idea of coaxes on the cargo floor retarded, but upgrading your rear speakers at all while your front speakers are not up to par is re-retarded. Your front speakers are the most important part of your system. Take care of them ASAP. Get some mid-line components in the $300-$450 MSRP range and a Dynamat Xtreme door kit to damp the doors.

Your sub and sub amp are pretty damned nice though. The high-end Alpine stuff is pretty damned skippy.

hmm that sure sounds niiice
but let me remind u that all of that is really expensive
im trying to build a good system one piece at a time trust me if i had the money i would of had that all done by now
had the speakers laying around n i decided to put them in so i dont c how thats retarded at all
n the the reason they are on the floor is cus they r jus temporary.. trust me im gonna put sum type x copmponents in both front n rear ;)
