can we add more smileys???

I found a thread back from 2003 that was asking about adding more smileys but nobody responded!

so is there a reason there are not more? does it cost more money for the board or something?

I know not all of them would be acceptable but maybe adding a bunch more would be cool...

Seriously though, the reason I enjoy this forum (and the few other forums I frequent) is because the signatures are shorter than the threads themselves and every post doesn't end in

... I can't stand that junk. I don't mind people having a picture of there car or "92 Turbo KLZE" in their sig, but if you look at other car forums it's ridiculus. I really don't need to be reminded what type of spark plugs someone is using every other post. Hell, I don't need to be told once because I don't care. Same thing with smilies. If the proper smiley is used it can be quite comical or help with the post, but unless we ban those who abuse the power I don't want to see those extra smilies around.

You are talking about signature length not smileys...but I am in agreement with you about other forums that have huge signatures - it gets annoying... but I am having a hard time relating that to having more smileys LOL
