For a few years I"ve asked myself, Am I the only guy who has used this engine for Drag? It's been hard, but I'm having fun, and have a few thophies and earned a few bucks.

Ok, here is a bit of history. I bought this car NEW on 1992, it ran 16.3 n/a with the 1.8 v-6, and 14.0 with a 75 shot of NOS, then the 2.5 engine was installed and it ran 14.4 n/a, and 12.8 with 100 shot of NOS. After the Turbo was installed NOS has not been used. I won't lie and tell you that all is "stock" because it's not. Last time we went to the Dyno it had 426 whp with 380 tq at 26 psi of boost. I'm not very good with chats or link, but if you want to see a video go to youtube.com and search: "Noche de Traccion Delantera", the car is on minutes 3:00, and 4:12. This video is from a race of the best 16 FWD that qualified, I qualified #9, no limitations for the category it could be a race or street car like mine. I would like to know what other people are running with the V-6. Tito

Hopefully I'll have some dyno info soon. My built motor is in and I'm having some pipes redone this week. Looking for a dyno trip in the next month or so followed by a lot of trips to the track.

Nice turbo first i heard anyone use these on a mazda. can't wait to upgrade to a SC 67-69.

yo that's some hell of fast cars, can't believen you almost beat that crx, and lost by a hair to it, our car is frikkken fast

congrats, thats some good times! pretty cool youve owned the car since new too, not a lot of guys around here do.

Ive had my mx3 for almost 3.5 yrs now. I did the 2.5 KL swap as well. It did 403 whp 412 ft lbs of torque, im guessing im at 425+ now at 15 psi. I have drag slicks but havent gone to drag my car, its a daily driver.
94 Mazda MX3 GS - 395 whp 397 ft lbs untuned on pump gas and stock KLDE 15 psi boost. now running 16 psi and E85.. numbers=? 425ish whp
04 GSXR 600- full exh, power commander 3, int turn signals, etc
98 Ford Ranger 3.0L
01 YZ250- most fun vehicle Ive ever owned.
95 Eclipse- built 420a, 60-1, megasquirt, 371 whp @ 17 psi, dsm-broken-car-curse
