Shock absorbers

Post by lochabay »

I have a 1993 mx-3, 4 cyl. ,manual trans. The car is a daily driver in more or less normal use. I need rear shocks - front seem to be ok. I don't want to feel like I am driving on a washboard, but neither do I want the car to feel mushy, so I am looking for a shock that will give some comfort to the ride without sacrificing too much handling.

Any suggestions? Gas or Hydraulic?

Recommend brand/model KYB GR2's. Reasonably priced at ~$50 each and will bring your ride back to original stock or somewhat better than stock handling. Not sure of the source for best price but start by looking at http://www.tirerack.com.
