Post by powerman_5000 »

Ok, Heres a little poll. I was wondering what kind of exhaust you guys have and what kind of sound you get out of it.

i just had a pacesetter exhaust installed couple of days ago, and i don't like the sound of it that much, iam thinking probably just installing a different muffler and keeping the pacesetter cat-back system
Check out my ride and leave some feedback please!

i got a custom 2.25" catback with a naxos muffler. sounds mean and sets off alarms fairly often. i get lots of compliments for it. sometimes i don't even have to ring my friends' doorbells, they already heard me coming!

All I have is a Hayame muffler, with a 5" tip. It puts off a mean growl, awefully loud for a 4 cyl. Sets off alarms also :)

I have a fully custom exhaust from the manifold back. I have no resonator, a hi flow catalytic converter and a 40 series flowmaster. I looooove the sound. Totally different than any other import. check out the pics at www.geocities.com/mudslinger7785

I have heard some BAD things about Flowmaster exhausts. Would it be possible for someone with a flowmaster to record the sound and post it? I really would LOVE to hear it.

Hello. My pacesetter cat-back has been on for over a year now. At first it didn't sound all that good but over the last few months, it's been getting ALOT deeper and meaner sounding, I dunno, engine trouble ? Who cares, KL_ZE's on the way. :D

a flowmaster muffler makes my car sound like a 3.0L truck with full exaust. too loud. i went back to stock muffler with straight piping, resonator and tip. sounds good, deep, but not loud.
dave
