[FS] Complete V-6 MX-3 Turbo Kit)***SOLD***

Post by Slammed6 »

I have decided to sell my newly built turbo kit due to some financial obligations. This is completely custom by me, i used the standard Probe/MX-6 MMI Turbo pipes and modified them, but the intercooler and piping is all custom.

I don't have alot of pics of the final product but i will be taking pics soon, i do however have some pics of me in the process of putting it together.

I will list whats included:
HotPipes:
-MMI Turbo Hotpipes Powdercoated with 2200 deg. Insulating powdercoat
-EGR Welded Shut
-Turbo Up-pipe modified to fit MX-3 Engine bay
-Downpipe is cut to bolt up to Turbo housing and needs a 2-3/4" extention peice to mate up to full exhaust.
-Downpipe has a 02 bung welded in for wideband 02 sensor
-Up-pipe is wrapped in black header wrap, just by portion that goes by the bottom coolant line, approx 8"-12" Uses Stainless steel clamps for clean look

Cold Pipes:
-Completely Custom Intercooler Setup
-2.5" Aluminum Piping Powdercoated black
-RED 3-ply couplers
-T-bolt clamps for added strength

Turbo:
-T3/T04E 57 Trim

-.50 A/R Compressor (Exducer 3", Inducer 2")
-.63 A/R Turbine (Exducer 2.2", Inducer 2.58")
-.58 5 Bolt Standard Hotside
-Hotside Turbo Housing Powder Coated with 2200 deg. Black like Upipe.

Turbo Oil Fittings:
-3/8" NPT To 4an Fitting for off the block
-4an 36" Stainless Steel line For oil feed
-4an 90 Swivel joint for turbo feed
-Function 7 Aluminum 4an Restricted Oil feed for Turbo
-Function 7 Aluminum Adaptor for Oil Drain
-(2) 5/8" Barbed fitting for oil drain
-5/8" Heavy Duty Hose for oil drain ~36"-42"
-Tapped Oil pan with Female 3/8" thread
-(2) clamps for 5/8" Hose

Wastegate:
-Standard 2-Bolt 38mm Wastegate
-Tial Knock-off
-Wastegated for 8-psi

Fuel Accessories:
-Millenia S Injectors (Redtops) in KL Fuel rails
-Cartech BEGI FMU with 5/16" barbed fittings (Fully adjustable On-set and rising rate)
-MBX Fuel pressure regulator adaptor with 5/16" barbed fitting
-Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator

All bolts are heat-treated Grade 8 with washers and Nylock nuts, which is the bet you can get.

Of course i would prefer pick-up but since i need to sell this ASAP, i will be willing to ship at the buyers expense.

Any questions please feel free to contact me, i will be posting new pics of the final install soon.

Asking price is 2,000 + Shipping which is a steal for such a show quality kit.

Yea, sounds like your digging a whole that you may have a tough time getting out of. Think of your priorities first.

Damn fine looking kit!!!

Does it require the crossmember cut&weld mod?

What engine management are you using?

Great pics, still trying to determine if it would all fit the BG Protege chassis.

BTW, DON'T tell my wife i'm asking questions

You have to mod the crossmember just like u would have to on all the other kits. I cut my crossmember, but never got any re-inforcements put in.

I was using the FMU for fuel management. I don't see y it wouldn't fit in the BG Chasis

I'm not too keen on cutting the crossmember... i have heard from a bunch of ppl they run with it cut or even without and have had no issues...but my car will be race only...and raced hard. It's just another added *to do* to my list that never ends....

So you're just using the KL (DE? ZE?) ECU and piggy backs? I have an MSnS but i'm curious anyway.

It's the FMIC/piping/routing that has me questioning the BG chassis fit...however, it looks very similar.

thanks for the quick reply.
