Transmission Weight?

I was wondering if anyone had a rough estimate on the weight of the manual trans? I am packing mine up to ship and was hoping for a close estimate before I try to take it down to ups to ship.

my friend and i lifted it pretty easily so it seems around 75 or so pounds.. but i want to be sure.. is it close to that? is it definently under 150? any help would be great

i would say around 50 lbs

about 70 - 80 lbs maybe.... it makes a big difference when you put on coil overs ... on mine i had to lift up the tranny side alot more so that is could be evenly slammed..... thats totaly off the topic but ... yea

u had it close i have shipped several trannies through the mail...~80-85 lbs. The one i sent with starter and front engine mount came out to ~100 lbs.

V6 mannual transmittion with all three mounting brackets
and no clutch assy and no oil.

= 41kgs or 90 pounds

finally got it weighed thanks for the help in the estimates helped with my shipping plans before I took it over

v6 manual trans in box with padding and some various bolts and slave cylinder tossed in 97 lbs
