240!! 4 grand could probably get you a 240 and the sr20det swap...

Or what about the older supras?

For that price range and for what you want, get a 240. Set urself up with a 90-92 (without the pig nose) and you have a strong a-- KA24DE that you can turbo the crap out of. :D

yea if you has some coin, but RWD is a different type of handeling, it will always feel different. Get some coilovers and everything SRD and you will have a good handeling car. :)

Well when i drove my dads miata....up the mountain....which is basicly the best track with winding turns for about 30 miles......It hugged to the road sooo good I had to go about 65-70 to start to even get a tire to squeel....
In my car its about 50-55
Does a 240 Handle really well? I haven't ever driven one....

Another thing is that the miata is lower to the ground as well as being lighter then the mx3's with a lighter motor up front and most likely a more balanced weight distrobution.

240's handle really well if you have the LSD and some type of coilver/urathane bushing kit. From what I have seen and felt its pretty crazy. You also have the oppertunity to run some pretty wide rims on that car.

Screw the two-forty and get a fortwo ;)
Kidding, smart cars are wierd. I want to get one, do an engine upgrade and see if I can catwalk it without flipping over backwards. Problem is I don't want to pay for it.
