Well when i drove my dads miata....up the mountain....which is basicly the best track with winding turns for about 30 miles......It hugged to the road sooo good I had to go about 65-70 to start to even get a tire to squeel....
In my car its about 50-55
Does a 240 Handle really well? I haven't ever driven one....

Another thing is that the miata is lower to the ground as well as being lighter then the mx3's with a lighter motor up front and most likely a more balanced weight distrobution.
240's handle really well if you have the LSD and some type of coilver/urathane bushing kit. From what I have seen and felt its pretty crazy. You also have the oppertunity to run some pretty wide rims on that car.
