Hey John and Barry, have you guys seen an install with the cruise "mini" buttons on the top or side of the steering column housing? I'm going to use the factory circuit board but disconnect the factory momentary switches and solder new wires from ther to the new switches.

Here's a 10 year old picture of my Momo steering wheel install.Bling Bling wrote:I'm attempting this as well but with the MOMO hub.

I made no mods to the car and the stock wheel can be re-installed at anytime. All the mods have been done to the Momo hub adaptor, spacer ring and the spokes of the wheel. The wiring for the buttons are actually flat copper traces laminated to the back of the spokes of the wheel with a teflon isolation barrier and the button are FAA/ DOT approved aircraft membrane switches. I made electrical socket into the spokes of the wheel for the pins on the back of the switch to plug into. Just to make sure the pins don't pop out of the sockets, the back of the switch is flush mounted to the spoke with thin double sided foam tape, for mounting printing plates, to keep them in place.
