Heater Core Removal

Post by 2RotorsNaDream »

How the hell do I get to the two top nuts of the heater unit? I cant seem to take the whole dash off so I got some stuff in the way and cant see how this heater box would come out for me to change the heater core. The HVAC controls panel is really the main thing in my way.

to get to the heater core. you must remove the dash. i dont really have experience on the mx3 however i've removed many dash on jeeps to replace blend air doors. inside the blend air doors is the heater core.
thats jsut my experience. hope that helps. i believe you gotta drop the steering wheel.
