Replacement V6 - UK

Hi,

Does anyone know anywhere selling a 1.8 V6?

alternatively, does anyone know how much I can get breaking down an MX3?

Recently the big end went on mine

Any other advice is appreciated.

What happens to the old 1.8 V6's when you swap them out for the KL-ZE?

I don't want to, I'd rather replace the engine, but I have'nt found an engine in good condition yet.

I have 2.5 V6 KL-DE, but only cylinder block with pistons and crankshaft (for those who damage their V6 'heart'). But you can also try to search for 323F BA V6 with KF engine or Xedos6, it is 2.0 V6 with 140k. It must fit your MX3. Check eBay.co.uk, I think you can find some 323F there for a bargain.

I have one Xedos6 for parting out, but it would be very expensive to send engine to the UK I think..

A breakers near me may have a possibility, have recently got a replacement door for mine from there. Dont know much about the engine size or state but may be able to find out, Or if you can get the number for Tanygroes breakers (Tanygroes, Cardigan) you could give them a call.

I didnt see this post, get on to Nippon Spares and ask for Ian.....

A KLZE will set you back £600 ish and the JE 50 AFM will be fine......

You'll just need a KL31-36 ECU, and off you go

How much for the block?
I`m looking for a rebuild project.
Shipping to Norway shouldnt be too bad.
