[wtb] rear disk conversion

Post by 4gotn »

im trying to convert from rear drums to rear disk brakes
ive checked with local autoparts stores and i can get everything new for about 200$ or so but i dont have that kind of money so i was wondering if anyone on the site had an extra used set of hubs, calipers, etc. that they might be willing to part with for cheaper
i dont care if its ben painted or not because im probly going to paint it myself and if it is painted that meens more work...so...anyone for the taking?

yea..im aware...but...i just spend money buying new zx2 struts...i dont have any left to do the conversion...i actualy had to borrow that
i still have my front rotors so i can stop and i have to rebuild the back brakes...but id rather switch to rotors so i dont have to keep fooling with these stupid things..

I have everything needed to do the conversion, but shipping would be such a PITA. :(

In that $200, what does it include? Cause you need more than the rotor, calipers, brake pads. You also need the brake lines from the e-brake to the caliper. It would probably cost just under $100 at the junkyard. So what kind of price are you thinking?
