reverse lights wiring after mtx swap

Cant figure out the wiring for it pics are good

I have instructions on how to do this.. I just havent gotten to this particular part of the project yet. I can tell you its only splicing together a couple of wires from the Big Yellow ATX plug to the wires coming off of the reverse light switch of the tranny. The plug looking thing with 2 green wires coming off of it that is closest to the fill plug. The other plug with 2 green wires on the backside of the tranny is the neutral safety switch. I cant remember the wire colors of the ATX plug off hand.. I have it written down at home. I'll post them up tonight. If you want pics.. you'll have to wait a week or so till I get to that project. Didnt i already give you that ?

Red w/ green stripe
Black w/ yellow stripe

I might have been mistaken on it being the yellow connector, its been along time since i did this... look the other white connnector from the atx as well, or any of the former atx connectors.... those color wires are the reverse lights

well on the big atx connector you also said pins 2 and 5 i think and those arent those colors

so come to find out when i wired the lights i tryed using the black w/ yellow and the green w/ red and didnt work so i tryed the green w/ red and the yellow w/ black that blew my fuse to my cluster, speedo, tach, turn signals so i have no idea what to do now..

I wish i could help you at this point.... all i know is my reverse lights have been working for a year and a half now, so you must have done something wrong somewhere

sure you used the switch on the trans thats beside the fill plug and not the other one ?

im pretty sure thats the reverse light wires cause like you said it is 2 green wires into a white connector like in the picture above maybe you can take a few pics? and sorry for being so stubborn about it

there are 2 switches on the trans, neutral safety and reverse... they both have a pair of green wires coming out of them, so its possible you hooked up the wrong pair (reverse is the one right next to the fill plug on the front side of the gear box)

also, are you sure your wires are making a connection the way you have that rigged up ? i cut my plugs off and soldered them directly ... but check you have the correct switch first
