17 inch wheels, what tires should I get?

Post by Jovian2k »

I am thinking of getting these wheels from ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... AMEWA%3AIT they are 17x7 BSA's. Are they any good? has anyone had any experiences with BSA? Anways my main question is if I get these wheels, what low profile tires should I get if I am going to initially use them on my stock suspension (93 RS)? I dont want to have to worry about them rubbing or anything. Thanks!

if your getting konig heliums, get the 15's only 10 lbs and more high performance tire options.

just my opinion.

Nice wheels ............... wow almost as nice as mine ........... hehehehe

no they are nice ..... I got mine off of ebay too and they are 16s

One guy told me that mine were too heavy .. 20lbs each .......

so 80lbs ... and I weigh 96 lbs and what is an average weight 125 or 130 ... so really it will be a little more than 40lbs more on my car ... it's worth it! I'm going with 205 45 16 tires

The point in lighter wheels is not lighter total mass, but total reciprocating mass.

$800 sounds about right for mounted, balanced, and shipped. I don't think you'll find that combo significantly cheaper anywhere.
