need axles for at trans... BADLY
ok i did a bp swap with trans... now my axles are clicking and i need them replaced... anybody got an extra set laying around that i could buy from them? i have a mercury tracer lts that still has axles(where i got the motor and trans from) will these fit in the mx-3? how hard is it to change the axels... sry im a noob to mechanics lemme know if you guys know anything thx...
Not sure if it will fit but worth a try.
Fairly simple procedure to remove these.
Drain the fluid first, then remove the wheel and hub bolt etc until you can simply pop it out of the hub/disc. Then give the tranny end of the shaft few jerks and it should just pop out.
Anyone with more experience is welcome to fix me up
