Trying to figure out if I should run two of four with my microtech on my b6t hybrid. Pros and cons?
Two coils or four on standalones??

They say that 2 "good" coils will produce more than enough power for most any street driven car. The fact is that the plug and wire can only take so much voltage and thus they make the coils to exceed power for two plugs.
Also, on any other car ( not four banger) it is extremely hard to find a set-up with one coil per cylinder. Almost all use 2 per.

I'm with PATDIESEL on this one cause 2 is def enough. 4 is overdoing it and a waste. It's another question of why do it and what are you gaining from it.
