Removing headlights

ok, i tried to remove the headlights.. i take all the stuff off i can see, and they still dont come out.. i get em real loose but they stay in. what am i missing? i need to paint my front-end and if i cant get my headlights out gunna make it a bit harder...

i feel real dumb askin this but ??

theresa hidden bolt huge gigantic pain in the butt... options are take off front bumper which would be easiest way... or u can attempt to undo the bolt blindly basically by feel with very very little room by taking off ur turn signal and shoving ur hand up there... check the online manual off the main page

Ok, check out this picture of the headlight...

now, heres the edited version of this....

Red Circle= Remove with rachet

Red/Blue Circle= remove with rachet if you can, but also can use philips
screw driver..this woudl be easier i beleive.

Red X= you don't need to take out this bolt, because you can simply slide the
black peice that is attached to the left side of the light out of it...

Red ? = no clue if this bolt needs to be removed or not...

Hopefully you get it...and no you dont' need to take off your bumper, JUST DON"T CRACK IT. Be careful and you'll be fine.

yah that red question mark would be ur hidden bolt i was talking about


and no u dont have to remove ur bumper but it makes it helluva alot easier to get at that bolt

k, but i didnt' need to take of this "hiddne bolt" when i took out my headlight. Maybe the guy that owned the car before me forgot to put it in when replaceing the lights?
