Mazda Protege 92 LX
Simple can you swap the bpt into a protege 92 lx same mounts and whatnot?

The NA BP in the Protege LX is the same as the BPT with few minor exceptions...
BPT has 8.2 CR, NA BP has 8.8/9.0 CR depending on the year.
BPT has no VICS, NA BP does
BPT has better flowing intake manifold than the NA BP.
BPT has head restrictions that help produce *swirl* that aids low end torque.
IMO I would take the better condition of the 2 motors and use the NA BP pistons, BPT intake manifold, NA BP head, and go from there.
The blocks and everything else are the exact same.
