hey, i got ahold of the wires for the heated seats... but i think it is going to be a little more difficult than expected. Even went into mazda, and they couldn't dig up anything for diagrams and such for the wiring of the heated seats.....

So as soon as i get my car going again, going to start tearing out the carpet and dash so i can follow that damned wire...

Going to be a big job to change. may have to remove all trunk interior and re-wire the whole iside again...

I'll keep you guys informed of how it goes!

I've changed my seats a few times and the wire underneath is definately for the seat belt. If you leave it unplugged it doenst make that annoying beeping noise that reminds you to put on your seat belt (I never plugged it back in because I dont need to be reminded to buckle up lol.)

i've always wanted to use that wire/switch as a anti-theft, like for the fuel-pump or the ignition. I'm sure theives don't remember to put on their seatbelts before they try to start the car ;)

Gotta luv it...LOL.
Wiring for the heated seats?? ==> Going to have to track down a shop manual for the 93 SE version that will include the Canadian section for the wiring of that. Usually the North American manuals cover the variations between the US and Canada wrt electrial/wiring...DRL's - Daytime Running Lights, etc. Alternate possibility would be to go to Grants site and see what's available for a 93 also.

Actually, I'm not 100% sure, but overseas, I believe it was an option (part of the Eunos line) and not just a limited run. You may find it in their generic diagrams as part of the standard wiring for them.
