ok i think we all need a lillte more info on the subs but as a idea try changing out the fuse under the hood for a bigger one i know you said you checked the rca's for any pinching but also check the power cables and the remote wire as well

I dont even know what the pre-amp is so I cant multimeter it. I know how to install basic systems fine and have never had a problem until now. (Of course problems happen in my own car...) Also I had a 140A circuit breaker in the car now I have replaced it with a 60A fuse. And I cant really give you anymore info on the subs. Only thing I know is that they are older 12" Kicker Solobarics. Theyre the round ones.

Yeah its a very odd problem. I still to this day have not got these subs to work in my car. I'm going to take them out of the box and make sure the wiring is good inside from the subs to the outside of the box.
