new problem

Post by sonue1 »

Just got over the overheating problem and developed a new prob.
The engine has a flat spot when you accellerate, and a very slight surge
when driving.
The flat spot is at any speed, the surge is constant no mater how fast you drive.
Anybody had this problem?
Thanks...[/b]

Could be ignition related. Try replacing your cap/rotor, of not Id do the HEI mod.

Is the flat spot or surge right when you start to press the gas? If so you need to adjust the TPS sensor. Do a search on how to go about it.

Check your spark plugs, they may have something to do with it
